Maynard Farmers Market is looking for student artists to draw our weekly chalkboards. This is a great way to share your talent and earn some market bucks while highlighting our local farmers, musicians, and artists.
What We’re Looking For: Two artists per week to draw creative designs for our three chalkboards:
1 Welcome Board: Greet our customers with a colorful welcome.
2 Musician Board: Advertise our weekly performer with your music themed art
3 Children’s Activity Board: Highlight our weekly kids’ activities.
Perks of Being a Market Artist: Earn $10 in “market bucks” to spend with any of our vendors, Showcase your art to hundreds of market-goers, and add a unique design to your portfolio.
Schedule: The market runs Saturdays 9am-1pm from the end of June to the end of September. Artists need to arrive by 8:15 AM to set up and start creating. We provide chalk.
How to Sign Up: Please email us MaynardFarmersMarket@gmail.com with your name, age, school, a sample of your artwork if you have one, and which Saturday(s) you prefer. You can do more than one! We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
