This Saturday we’re pleased to welcome back to the Serendipity Cafe Music Tent the Hip Swayers Trio, thanks to a grant from the Maynard Cultural Council. They’ll be performing their fun blend Americana / Country / Alt.Country music starting at 9:30 am and there’s plenty of room for dancing. Saturday also features children librarian Mark Malcom’s annual visit to the Market for 9 am storytime.
Tim will be here with his truck so that you can enjoy espresso drinks in addition to cold brew and hot coffee. Joni’s Cannolis is here for her final date of the season and Deano’s Pasta returns after a few weeks off. The Friends of the Maynard Public Library hold a summer booksale and share information about upcoming library events (the free summer concert on 8/29 features legendary musician David Bromberg) and staff from the Boston Children’s Hospital’s Environmental Health Department will help educate families about lead poisoning prevention, vaping hazards, and other environmental dangers.
The alpacas are back for a visit and Goldie and Jim will be selling duck eggs in additional to their alpaca products. We also welcome Paul and Debie of Cementasaurs, their line of small garden dinosaurs. We’re officially half-way through the Market season so be sure to visit if you haven’t been here yet!
