The week-long celebration of Farmers’ Markets highlights how they contribute to a vibrant agricultural industry in Massachusetts, as well as their role in creating healthier communities. This week in Maynard, the farmers will be offering the summer bounty of vegetables, fruits, and flowers. There will be baked-goods galore and pastas, eggs, meats, cheeses & cider to round out your meals. Pick up some coffee and get yourself some honey, maple syrup or jam.
Our artisans this week are Jennifer’s Handmade Soaps and B-Organic Bags and its Kids’ Artisan Day as well. Treat yourself to a mini-massage with Suzanne Selig and learn about the Assabet Village Coop Market and the Maynard Cub Scouts. Our Serendipity Cafe Music Series organizer Laura Finizio Hobson will be performing starting at 9:30am. The Saturday weather looks to be beautiful; please don’t forget to include a visit to the Market from 9am-1pm in your morning plans! As always, you’ll find us on Main St. next to the Mill Pond.
