It’s Massachusetts Farmers’ Market Week, and there’s no better way to celebrate than a Saturday stroll through the Maynard Farmers Market! This week features an outstanding lineup of vendors, music from Lily Waguespack and a special “Chef’s Day Out” cooking demo from local chef and Maynard resident Aaron Furmanek. FARM AND FOOD VENDORS

Applefield Farm – Produce grown according to organic principles and bringing fresh vegetables, herbs, melons and cut flowers all summer long! Carrots, greens, lettuce, radishes, cukes, beans, eggplants of all colors, tomatoes and so much more.


Balance Rock Farm – A 5th generation family farm brings locally-raised meats (beef, pork, chicken, and sausage), milk, and eggs. They also sell cheeses, jam, sauces and other products from local producers.


Saltbox FarmNEW IN 2026 – Saltbox Farm is a family farm, where our farmers are dedicated to the pursuits of regenerative agricultural practices ensuring survival and sustainability of this land, while still remaining an intricate part of the surrounding community. 



Hudson Hives – A small, family-run apiary founded on sustainability selling honey, beeswax candles, honeycomb and other beeswax products. Try all of their honey varieties including Spring Blossom, Summer Wildflower, Blueberry, Cranberry, orange blossom, Japanese knotweed, golden flower, elderberry Wellness honey, and Durty Honey.


The Hyve – The Hyve is a farm to table meal delivery, catering and a bakery farmers market business. Tom and Ruth-Anne are long-time restaurant people who love their work when it results in happiness and find joy in great ingredients from farms, and cooking with creativity and care.


FSG Baking LLC – Artisan baker Frank Schneider bakes in the German/ European tradition, using wholesome, partially organic ingredients. All his bread and baked goods are handmade and slow rise — giving the bread time to develop its full flavor. Look for real rye bread and handmade Bavarian pretzels!


Muddy Water Coffee Roasters – Delicious fresh coffee for all of your caffeine needs! Fair Trade and organic blends from around the world, crafted locally for absolute freshness and flavor, and coffee drinks to sip at the Market.


Flat’s Mentor Farm/Anna’s HarvestNEW IN 2026 (Lancaster) Flats Mentor Farm supports small farmers of diverse ethnic backgrounds with the land, farming infrastructure and marketing assistance needed to promote and sustain successful farming enterprises. Anna’s Harvest is one of those enterprises utilizing sustainable farming practices to harvest fresh produce to bring to the local community.

Sam’s SweetsNEW IN 2026 – Maynard native Sam brings her culinary skills to the market and will be selling homemade mocha cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, salted caramel snickerdoodle cookies, strawberry crumble bars, and blondie bars.


Ben’s Raclette – specializes in French-style raclette on baguette, melted and scraped right in front of customers. Top your baguette with fig jam, honey, prosciutto, dill pickles, or other scrumptious toppings.


Maynard Maple – It is our mission to bring great-tasting, high-quality maple syrup to surrounding communities in Massachusetts and New England. We provide the freshest packaged and bottled maple products, with great attention to details and cleanliness. We strive to carry the tradition of what Ron Kay started many years ago, making the best maple products with professionalism and care to our customers. Our products include maple syrup, maple cream, maple candy, and maple sugar.


ARTISANS

The Soap Artist – The Soap Artist is based in Ayer, MA and creates artistic artisan soaps. The endless design possibilities captured Jennifer’s love for soapmaking and continues to drive her today. “Soap should be more than just functional” sums up her stance on soap! Color and design guide everything she does. Along with her artisan soaps Jennifer offers a wide range of bath products including lip balms, lip scrubs, hand balms, foot balms, fun shaped bath bombs, bubble bath, shower steamers, and decadent sugar scrubs!


Mr. Sharp(NEW IN 2026) – Mr. Sharp provides knife sharpening and repair services


Curious Workmanship(NEW IN 2026) At Curious Workmanship, we specialize in creating custom laser-engraved, laser-color-marked, and 3D-printed gifts and items. You’ll find jewelry, home decor, metal business cards, and a variety of accessories. At our booth, we will be bringing our laser engraving device and provide on-site custom laser engraving of our items. Chef’s Day Out Cooking Demonstration with Chef Aaron Furmanek– Aaron is a self-taught chef with over two decades of experience. He is currently the estate chef for the Consulate of France in Boston. He has held positions ranging from the Executive Chef and Cooking School Chef at Saltbox Kitchen and Saltbox Farm in Concord, MA to a test cook at America’s Test Kitchen. Aaron is from the Chicago area where he grew up surrounded by a wealth of family and of the food and cultures of that city. Aaron lives in Maynard with his wife, two sons, and dog.

Lily Waguespack – Lily is a solo guitarist and singer studying in New Orleans. Her genre blends folk, rock and blues. Catch her play some covers and originals. Her music Instagram is @lily.wag.music

Tot Lot – The Tot Lot will have toys and books for the little ones.

The Community School – The Community School has provided caring, high-quality, affordable, age-appropriate early childhood education for the children of Maynard, Massachusetts and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years.

MetroWest Shared Public Health Services (MWSPHS) is a regional public health collaboration serving nine MetroWest communities through shared public health programs, services, and resources. Our work focuses on strengthening local public health capacity and improving access to services that support the health and well-being of residents across the region. By working together, our communities are able to share resources, expertise, and programs to better meet the needs of the residents we serve. MWSPHS is currently conducting a regional Food Access Assessment in partnership with the MetroWest Food Collaborative. The goal of the assessment is to better understand how residents across the MetroWest region access food, what barriers they may experience, and where there may be gaps or opportunities to improve access to healthy, affordable, and culturally appropriate food.
