Once upon a time, in the charming village of Maynard, there was a magical marketplace that opened its gates every week. This wondrous place, known as the Maynard Farmers Market, brought joy and delight to all who visited.

In the heart of the village, under the watchful eyes of the ancient Mill Pond, the market came alive. The air was filled with the scent of fresh produce and the sound of cheerful chatter.

Week Two Begins (July 6) – After a splendid opening week, the villagers were abuzz with excitement for Week 2 of the market.

The Enchanted Vendors – In this enchanted market, the vendors were like characters from a storybook, each with their own unique charm:

Applefield Farm: Tended by wise gardeners who grew vegetables, herbs, and flowers with a touch of magic.
Balance Rock Farm: Known for their grass-fed meats, chicken, and eggs, as well as special items from fellow local producers.
Cookie Lady Treats: A baker with a heart of gold, crafting sweet and savory baked goods that made everyone smile.
Hudson Hives: The beekeepers with a secret treasure—over 10 varieties of honey, along with soothing lip and body balms and beeswax candles.
Muddy Water Coffee: The coffee wizards who brewed potions of coffee beans and freshly made coffee drinks, perfect for a morning boost.

(FSG Baking is on vacation this week but will return next week.)

The Special Visitor – This week, the market welcomed a special visitor,  Love and Honey Granola, known throughout the land for their wholesome granola, sweetened with the finest local honey.

The Artisans of Wonder – And there were artisans, creators of beautiful and enchanting items:

B-Organic: Makers of natural produce and magical tote bags.
Gestalt Gifts: Creators of resin, mosaic, and other artful home décor, each piece crafted with care.
Ms. Shute’s Art Studio: An artist who painted dreams and made colorful friendship bracelets, spreading joy and creativity.

The Community Tents – In the Community Tents, Artspace Maynard and the Maynard Historical Commission shared tales of art and history, inviting all to learn and explore.

The Children’s Tent – In a special corner of the market, children gathered at the Children’s Tent to try their hand at shell painting, creating designs of wonder and laughter.

The Musical Enchantment – And under the Interlude Music Tent, the A Capella ensemble Conchords sang harmonies that floated through the air like a spell, enchanting all who listened.

The Market Day

The market opened its gates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Villagers from near and far came to this magical place, where every visit was a new adventure.

Happily Ever After

And so, the Maynard Farmers Market continued to bring happiness and community spirit to the village. Each week was a new chapter in their story, filled with fresh produce, delightful treats, and magical moments.

Join us, dear friends, and be part of the magic.
