Come join us at the Market this Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM—rain or shine—for a morning of community, fresh local food and produce, and great entertainment. This week features a Flower Arranging Demonstration by Melissa Tomyl of Hawes Florist from 10:00 to 11:00 along with a free raffle to win an arrangement she creates. We’ll also have live roots, folk, and blues music performed by Willie T and Doctor X and we’re excited to welcome The Hyve, a new vendor offering delicious Farm-to-Table prepared foods.

FARM AND FOOD VENDORS
Applefield Farm – Produce grown according to organic principles and brings fresh vegetables, herbs, melons and cut flowers all summer long! Carrots, greens, lettuce, radishes, cukes, beans, eggplants of all colors, tomatoes and so much more.
Balance Rock Farm – A 5th generation family farm brings locally-raised meats (beef, pork, chicken, and sausage), milk, and eggs. They also sell cheeses, jam, sauces and other products from local producers.
Cookie Lady Treats – Laura makes fresh baked sweet and savory treats of all kinds: breakfast pastries, breads, pizza, scones, and of course–cookies in unique flavors!
Hudson Hives – A small, family-run apiary founded on sustainability selling honey, beeswax candles, honeycomb and other beeswax products. Try all of their honey varieties including Spring Blossom, Summer Wildflower, Blueberry, Cranberry, orange blossom, Japanese knotweed, golden flower, elderberry Wellness honey, and Durty Honey.
FSG Baking LLC Artisan baker Frank Schneider bakes in the German/ European tradition, using wholesome, partially organic ingredients. All his bread and baked goods are handmade and slow rise — giving the bread time to develop its full flavor. Look for real rye bread and handmade Bavarian pretzels!
The Hyve – The Hyve is a farm to table meal delivery, catering and a bakery farmers market business. Tom and Ruth-Anne are long-time restaurant people who love their work when it results in happiness, and who find joy in great ingredients from farms, and cooking with creativity and care.
Huckleberry Bakes – Lizz runs a licensed residential bakery located in Acton. She operates out of a dedicated gluten free kitchen, creating from scratch cakes, cupcakes, cookies and specialty bakes.
Pony Shack Cider – Local artisanal hard cider company creating unique and delicious ciders.

Abby’s Famous Dog Treats – They make healthy dog treats for dogs using minimal but fresh ingredients including carrots, kale, spinach, sweet potato, whole wheat flour, oats, Rice, beef and salmon. They do not use preservatives in their treats.

Maynard Maple – Their mission is to bring great-tasting, high-quality maple syrup to surrounding communities in Massachusetts and New England. They provide the freshest packaged and bottled maple products, with great attention to details and cleanliness. Groovyhome – Nan is a holistic interior designer and who helps down-to-earth people update their homes without having to renovate.
IMMER – Balpreet works with fabric to make aprons, tops, dress, hair accessories, pouches, bags, knit head band, booties and more.
Ari’s Craft Nook – Ari sells things she makes using remnants of fabric she collects. She has casserole carriers and laundry bags that you can use to carry your belongings. She also has padded seat cushions and bookshelf pillows to brighten up your space. In addition, she has microwavable heating pads and playing card holders.
Special Event, Music, Community Tables, and Children’s Activities
Flower Arranging Demonstration by Hawes Florist – Hawes Florist is a Maynard icon that has been owned by the Tomyl family since 1961. Located on Powder Mill Road, it is famous for its personalized floral Designs by Hawes and for never allowing a customer to leave without a flower. Melissa Tomyl worked with her father Vic for years. This Saturday she will be at the Market between 10 and 11 demonstrating how you can use our local summer flowers to make beautiful arrangements. As an added incentive, you can enter a free raffle to win an arrangement she creates!
Willie T and Doctor X – Willie T & Doctor X are a dynamic roots-rock/folk/blues duo from the Boston area, based in Cambridge, MA. They’ve been performing together for many, many years at pubs, breweries, coffeehouses, colleges, farmers markets and more throughout the northeastern U.S. They played 60+ shows last year to enthusiastic audiences all over New England.
Boston Area Gleaners – Boston Area Gleaners is committed to supporting an equitable, just, and sustainable local food system. They fulfill their mission by building innovative partnerships with local organizations and businesses in order to bridge food distribution gaps, improve healthy food access, prevent on-farm food waste, and create new markets for locally grown produce. Their vision is to sustain a permanent agricultural supply chain that will improve the viability of local farms and the health of communities who have historically suffered from inequity in the food system
Department of Children and Families – DCF works in partnership with families and communities to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. We seek to provide support and services to keep children safe with parents or family members.
