This Saturday promises another lively day at the Maynard Farmers Market. Mister Vic returns to entertain children and adults alike starting at 10:00 AM. As always, a full array of vendors will be there with fresh food, local produce, delicious baked goods, handmade crafts, and more. See the full line-up below. At the Community tables, Maynard Power Choice and Green Maynard will be present to share information about Maynard’s new community electric buying program and offer suggestions for embracing sustainable living. The market is open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, rain or shine.
Note – At 9:30, adjacent to the Market and the Assabet River Rail Trail, there will be a ceremony to dedicate a bicycle/bicyclist sculpture to the memory of Eric Hansen, a photographer and artist whose concept of ‘Maynard as a Canvas’ sparked the creation of public art in Maynard.
