Maynard Farmers Market opens its 30th season this coming Saturday with an exciting line-up of Farm and Food Vendors, Artisans and much more. Check out our complete list of vendors below. Opening day will also feature music from market favorite Ralph DeFlorio, ArtSpace will be at the community table and the Girl Scouts helping out at the Children’s Tent. Representative Kate Hogan and State Senator Jamie Eldridge will be by to say a few words in honor of our 30th season and there will even be a drone flyover. The market runs from 9:00-1:00 Rain or Shine. We can’t wait to see you there!



FARM AND FOOD VENDORS
Applefield Farm – Produce grown according to organic principles and bringing fresh vegetables, herbs, melons and cut flowers all summer long! Carrots, greens, lettuce, radishes, cukes, beans, eggplants of all colors, tomatoes and so much more.
Balance Rock Farm – A 5th generation family farm brings locally-raised meats (beef, pork, chicken, and sausage), milk, and eggs. They also sell cheeses, jam, sauces and other products from local producers.
Cookie Lady Treats – Laura makes fresh baked sweet and savory treats of all kinds: breakfast pastries, breads, pizza, scones, and of course–cookies in unique flavors!
Hudson Hives – A small, family-run apiary founded on sustainability selling honey, beeswax candles, honeycomb and other beeswax products. Try all of their honey varieties including Spring Blossom, Summer Wildflower, Blueberry, Cranberry, orange blossom, Japanese knotweed, golden flower, elderberry Wellness honey, and Durty Honey.
FSG Baking LLC – Artisan baker Frank Schneider bakes in the German/ European tradition, using wholesome, partially organic ingredients. All his bread and baked goods are handmade and slow rise — giving the bread time to develop its full flavor. Look for real rye bread and handmade Bavarian pretzels!
Muddy Water Coffee Roasters – Delicious fresh coffee for all of your caffeine needs! Fair Trade and organic blends from around the world, crafted locally for absolute freshness and flavor, and coffee drinks to sip at the Market.
Huckleberry Bakes – Lizz runs a licensed residential bakery located in Acton. She operates out of a dedicated gluten free kitchen, creating from scratch cakes, cupcakes, cookies and specialty bakes.
Aaronap Cellars – Micro-winery tradition and art, they hand-craft each of our unique artisanal wines using grapes grown in our inland and coastal estate vineyards. Their emphasis on low-impact winemaking results in artisanal wines that truly express the unique tastes and terroirs of Massachusetts. Local vines – local wines!

Abby’s Famous Dog Treats – They make healthy dog treats for dogs using minimal but fresh ingredients including carrots, kale, spinach, sweet potato, whole wheat flour, oats, Rice, beef and salmon. They do not use preservatives in their treats.

Maynard Maple – Their mission is to bring great-tasting, high-quality maple syrup to surrounding communities in Massachusetts and New England. ARTISANS
Brookfield Candle Co – A family run candle company who prides itself on creating high quality, soy-based candle products for eco-conscious consumers who want to take better care of the earth, while enjoying the fragrant and empowering effects of their products
Jennifer’s Handmade Soaps – Jennifer creates artistic artisan soaps. The endless design possibilities captured her love for soapmaking and continues to drive her today. “Soap should be more than just functional” sums up her stance on soap! Color and design guide everything she does. Along with her artisan soaps Jennifer offers a wide range of bath products–including lip balms, lip scrubs, hand balms, foot balms, fun shaped bath bombs, bubble bath, shower steamers, and decadent sugar scrubs!
Ari’s Craft Nook – Ari sells things she makes using remnants of fabric she collects. She has casserole carriers and laundry bags that you can use to carry your belongings. She also has padded seat cushions and bookshelf pillows to brighten up your space. In addition, she has microwavable heating pads and playing card holders.
Music, Community Tables, and Children’s Activities
Ralph DeFlorio – Ralph is a folk/bluegrass/blues musician from Harvard, MA who has a history of playing at markets and other venues in the area. He loves playing the Maynard Farmers’ Market, and is looking forward to coming back! You can find his music on YouTube under the handle @RalphDeFlorio.
ArtSpace Maynard is a vibrant artistic community with a campus of four locations in the heart of Maynard. They are dedicated to expanding community engagement through exhibition opportunities, classes, workshops, and a membership program.
Childrens’ and Tot Tents – This week will feature Girl Scouts hosting and sharing their project about the importance of Bat Boxes including costumes, coloring pages, a craft, and more. In addition, the Tots tent will have toys and books for the little ones.
