Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 130 of Maynard strives to provide the K-5th grade youth of Maynard with programming related to community, citizenship, conservation and the outdoors while having as much fun as possible. At the Farmer’s Market this year we aim to provide information to any interested families, and we have rockets for sale so scouts and prospective scouts can aim for the sky!
Green Maynard
Green Maynard works to protect, preserve, and celebrate our connection to the natural environment. By partnering with and mobilizing the power of community, we raise awareness about the climate crisis and advocate for sustainable policies. Current initiatives include reducing light pollution, eliminating the use of SGAR rodenticides to protect birds of prey, revitalizing and stewarding the Assabet River, expanding composting opportunities in Maynard, and much more. Neighbor Brigade
Maynard Neighbor Brigade is a network of volunteers who assist local residents facing sudden crisis or medical issues by assisting with daily tasks (meal deliveries, rides to medical appointments, etc.) at no cost. Clients can reach out to the organization Chapter Leader; appropriate tasks are then posted to a web-based application where they can be signed up for by local volunteers.
We are excited to be at the Farmers Market to spread the word about our organization and talk with some prospective volunteers or clients.
