Welcome to our 25th Season!
Please be sure and check here often for important notices about COVID-19 policies as they evolve.
The Maynard Farmers’ Market opens Saturday, June 27 in the Mill & Main parking lot on Main Street. Hours are 9am to 1pm. We’ll continue through the end of September, rain or shine as usual.
This year is an exeptional one in many ways, not least changes in socializing and businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to keep everyone safe, and we are working from guidelines from state and local organizations to insure that our vendors and customers stay healthy while shopping. We will miss the special activities, the music and the opportunity to visit with our neighbors. But our most important mission hasn’t changed – providing access to healthy food. You’ll find the freshest local produce at Applefield and Brigham Farms, meats, eggs, cheeses and jams, relishes and coffee beans at Balance Rock Farm, baked goods from Cookie Lady Treats as well as honey and honey products at Hudson Hives. New vendor Maple Rise will offer maple cream, maple sugar and maple powder.
How will your shopping experience change? Because we need to limit numbers of visitors, a one-way path through the market will be set up. Your items will be selected for you by our vendors. We know it makes the farmers market experience different, and may take shoppers more time.
Here are some rules you need to follow to ensure a safe environment for everyone:
- If you’re sick, or under quarantine, stay home
- Shop alone if you can. Leave the kids at home if possible.
- Masks or other face coverings over the nose and mouth are required
- Use the provided hand sanitizer before entering the market
- No pets allowed in the Market area
- Stay six feet apart: follow social distancing rules
